Frida Orupabo is a sociologist and artist. She collects images from the media, archives, and her own life, which she assembles into collages. The colonial violence, stereotypical representations of race and gender, and the personal memories embedded in these images are interwoven to explore issues related to identity, representation, violence, history, and politics.
