Bruce Eesly is a gardener and self-taught photographer. Working with film photography and artificially generated images, he is interested in the status of photography in the age of AI and the way history is made and perceived through images. He considers gardening a political act and his practice is an extension of this belief. Through his work he hopes to raise questions about existing power structures and our extractive relationship to nature
