Ramon Masats (b. 1931) is a Spanish photographer who has kept strong ties with the Catalonian Photography Group with Oriol Maspons and Xavier Miserachs. In 1956 he began his collaboration with the weekly magazine "Gaceta Ilustrada", and from 1956 to 1963 he participated in Grupo Afal and their magazine with the same name. In 1963 Ramón received the International Award in England for best photograph for his shots of the films "El Cid" and "The Fall of the Roman Empire" and "55 Days at Pekin".
